The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has congratulated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the last governorship election in Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, on his victory at the election tribunal.

Gbajabiamila said the tribunal verdict was “a welcome development and a fair deal” for the people of Osun who stood behind Oyetola to return for a second term as governor.

The Election Petitions Tribunal hearing Oyetola’s petition against the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Ademola Adeleke on Friday annulled the result of the July 16 Osun governorship poll. He subsequently deducted the over-voting observed from the votes scored by the candidates and declared that Oyetola won the election, having polled 314, 921, while Adeleke’s score came down to 290, 266.

The Speaker said with the judgment, APC remains the party to beat at all times, especially during the forthcoming general elections.

Rigged system!

The problem will av in this country is judiciary follow by senate/Rep follow by police, only God can help us in this country

Problem in Nigeria is the court

Back door victory is a curse in disguise

Nonsense, look nobody that will vote APC or PDP should be ready to face God's judgement because it's a crime against humanity and must be punished by God.

This APC style of having court governors shall end after Feb 2023

The same BVAS the APC condemned gave them victory at the tribunal today. Be careful what you wish for yourself.

You mean APC will secure victory through tribunals as Uzodinma did? God forbid BATthing!

Failure is for you and your kind

The good people of osun state voted Adeleke...the conspiracy would not stand and February 25th, Nigerians would definitely Vote wise.they have suffered enough and can't continue with suffering..it's a Make or Mar election for the country

Look at this clown 🤡 wait until the appeal court and supreme court verdict. APC will lose this one in the end.
