Operatives of the National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Osun State Command, have arrested a 40-year-old Kareem Alamu and his accomplice, Adeyemi Saheed, 33. The duo, according to a statement by the Osun NDLEA Commander, Nnamdi W. Chidi, were arrested for possession of substances suspected to be narcotics.

The statement issued by the spokesperson, Charles Odigie, on Wednesday, and made available to DAILY POST, also added that the anti-narcotic agency nabbed the duo separately on Monday, May 13, 2024.

'Further search of the vehicle led to the recovery of another consignment containing another 26.5gms of cannabis sativa and 6.5gms of cocaine. 'A follow-up operation was initiated and it led to the arrest of one Adeyemi Saheed 'M' 33 years, who came with an unregistered gold colored Toyota Corolla to collect the consignment containing 26.5gms of cannabis and 6.5gms of cocaine. 'Search on the Toyota Corolla he brought led to the recovery of 1.5gms of cocaine.
