The Osun State Government has denied reports that it has increased allowance of the state civil servants by N25,000.

In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimo and obtained by DAILY POST on Sunday, the state government described that information as fake news and one maliciously fabricated to deceive the people of the state. It also described the information as the handiwork of mischievous elements bent on creating a wedge between the administration and the state workforce.

' While assuring the state civil servants of its commitment to their welfare, the state government revealed that it will roll out a good and well packaged transport scheme aimed at alleviating the pressure of transportation as a fallout of the removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government with its attendant effects on workers and Nigerians generally.
