Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has enjoined politicians across the country to remember that power belongs to the people.The governor who was reacting to the victory of Senator Ademola Adeleke in Saturday’s election in Osun State advised his colleagues to remember that it is the people that have the power.
Makinde who is the only PDP governor in the South West region while reacting said what happened on Saturday was similar to what happened in Oyo State in 2019. Makinde in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa added that he was happy that the PDP flag would be raised in another state in the region.
