He said that poor performance of the party in Anambra in the recent general election was attributable to the lack of synergy between party leadership and the grassroots.
He said that President Muhammadu Buhari respected the residents of Anambra, given his numerous development projects in the state. “I have come to open a new chapter for APC in Anambra, we can win governorship here, we can be number one but we have to be united,” he said. Ejidike said that APC suffered in the state because lack of appointment of members by the Federal Government and absence of support from the centre.
Ejidike urged the vice president to help in galvanising the leadership of the party in the state to address the issue of disunity within the ranks of Anambra APC.
