Super Falcons quintet Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade, Uchenna Kanu, Monday Gift and Chiamaka Nnadozie have been shortlisted for this CAF awards, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

Other players shortlisted for the award are Botswana trio Lesege Radakanyo, Refilwe Tholakele and Rukiya Bizmana, as well as Cameroonian quartet Ajara Njoya, Gabreille Ouguene, Jeanette Yango and Rose Bella.

Oshoala won the award for a fourth time in 2019 – equaling the record of fellow Nigerian Perpetua Nkwocha. For the women’s Club of The Year award, Rivers Angels made the list of seven nominees, alongside Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Ghana’s Hasaacas, AS FAR of Morocco, Malabo Kings of Equatorial Guinea, Egypt’s Wadi Degla and AS Mande of Mali.reported last week that Super Eagles winger Moses Simon made the CAF men’s Player of The Year nominees list.Kindly share this story:
