The Edo State Government has accused the All Progressives Congress National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, of sponsoring protests in Abuja against Governor Godwin Obaseki over alleged certificate forgery.
Shaibu claimed Obaseki enjoys Buhari’s goodwill, having exceeded all expectations in terms of performance and seeing there was no other means of defaming him, his adversaries had resorted to concocting false allegations against him, which they now use to mobilise protests. “It was alleged that the Governor had no certificate and now that the certificate of the Governor has been made public, they have shifted their accusation from no certificate to the next level of questioning the number of credits awarded in the certificate.
“In Nigeria, the requirement to contest for the position of Governor is a WAEC certificate. The Constitution didn’t specify the number of subjects or the grades in such subjects for the purpose of evaluation.
Obaseki played them all by saying he lost all his certificate and swore to an affidavit. That guy is an expert trickster. 419 to the bone
