Commissioner for Transportation, Frederic Oladeinde, said the closure was in continuation of the Opebi-Ojota bridge construction.Oladehinde advised motorists to use the Ojota interchange to connect Maryland and its environs.
Motorists heading to inner streets can use Mobolaji Bank Anthony road to access Emmanuel, Aderibigbe Shitta and Adeoye Adeyemi streets. Those heading toward Mende and its environs can use Mende Street to link Ajose Street and connect Oki lane. However, the repairs of a section of the Lagos-bound lane at the Iyana Era/Badagry Expressway has been postponed till further notice.
