The Public Relations Officer of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Abeokuta on Sunday.
According to Akinbiyi, the driver of the green truck conveying livestock and goats slept off behind the wheel, and in the process, lost control and hit a white truck in front of him.Akinbiyi added that three people sustained varying degrees of injury in the accident while one person died. “The three injured victims and the deceased are all occupants of the truck conveying livestock and goats.
