Members of the Ijare Community in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State on Wednesday arrested no fewer than 150 cows for destroying crops on farmlands in the community.

This came a few months after lightening struck dead 36 cows that belonged to the Fulani herdsmen while grazing on a ‘sacred land’ in the community.

The source said, “After the herdsmen had seen that the farmers and some local hunters were coming they abandoned their cows and ran while the cows were brought to the palace.” “They have been destroying our farms and we can no longer condone such losses again. We don’t have problem with them but we don’t want them and their cows in Ijare anymore.”

“We got the report that five herdsmen had invaded and destroyed the farms, we swung into action and one Banbuga Abu was arrested while we are still searching for the fleeing herdsmen. We have commenced the investigation.”

charlesachuks Sell the cows and use the money to compensate the farmers

Sell them to compensate the farmers. Amotekun is here to stay.

They should be jailed for life without any option of parole. Stupid cows!

Should be auction

Good beginning. Cows and it's owners cannot continue to wander around, destroying communities people's farms and lands freely. We are in 2020, it's high time Fulani herdsmen and cow rearing was seen as private business not government properties. Enough.

Make them send them thunder

NkemdiMary Deal with them very well.

send them to AmotekunS Amotekun_WNSN

Good job. The owners of the cows must be made to compensate the farmer(s)!

Arrest cows...... I'mma just go to Jupiter

LocusBendi

Do we have cell for cow

Kill them and eat them. Case closed. Thunder fire the cowboys.

War looms in SW

Wow!!!

Amotekun to the rescue.

They should kill half of the cows and do suya for the community and sell the other have to compensate the owner for what they destroyed

This trespass should be dealt with to send a signal to others. This nonsense must stop. We need food to feed the nation not meat

Good one

It is high time this nomads with their cow sense starts getting a fair share of their madness. How can you in a bid to sustain your source of livelihood destroy another persons own? Àmòtékùn all the way, let those with their illegality verdict go shove it up their ass

Sleep with one eye open.

Akeredolu will be denies 2nd terms. Cabals are not happy😂
