Omisore loses monarch dad at 90 - Punch Newspapers

Olu of Ayepe Olode in Osun State, Oba Olajide Omisore, has passed on at the age 90.

Oba Omisore, who marked his 90th birthday in July, 2021, was the father of a former Osun State Deputy Governor, Senator Iyiola Omisore. Announcing the death of his father in a terse message obtained in Osogbo, Omisore said traditional ruler died on Tuesday. The statement read, “On behalf of the Omisore Dynasty, it is with deepest sense of loss and gratitude to God that we inform you of the triumphant return of our beloved father, Oba David Olajide Omisore, to his Heavenly Father.

“Baba joined his ancestors peacefully. Kabiyesi sailed on January 4, 2022. Further announcement would be made in due course.”All rights reserved.
