Emeka Ojukwu, a son of the late Igbo leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has described the victory of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the Anambra State November 6 governorship election as divine.
He said, “It had to be held to ensure continuity and allow the state to grow, building on the foundation left by Governor Willie Obiano and his predecessor to ensure Anambra continues to move forward and not backward; it had to be held to fulfil our debt to Ezeigbo Ojukwu and other foundation members of the party who passed the torch on to us”.
He urged the APGA leadership to make genuine effort to reconcile aggrieved members, welcome back those who left and create an atmosphere that would attract new members so that the party would grow.
