December 21, 2022The aggrieved workers, in a statement issued through the organised labour in the state, decried the recently introduced staggered salary payment model, noting that they are yet to receive their November pay in December.
The statement was released on Tuesday and jointly signed by the Joint Negotiating Council chairman, Isa Olude and secretary, Oloyede Olayemi. The workforce had wondered why Abiodun’s government would refuse to meet and engage the labour movement in the state even after its initial 21 days of warning strike.
They noted that their silence over the unpaid salary does not mean they have resorted to fate, noting:
No November salary. Why?
What's happening here? November salary?
Them never suffer reach . Dem go still vote the werey next year hailing him during campaign and listening to his fake promises.Make them continue
They have to endure it, because they all support, and hailed their oppressors. Merry Christmas, and more troubles in the New year 2023, the year of validation of their oppression with the Poverty Validation Card PVC
