Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, on Saturday, said the ongoing Agro-Allied Cargo Airport located at Ilishan-Remo, Ikenne Local Government Area, would be ready for inauguration by the end of 2022.

The governor made a case for an Agro-Allied Cargo airport located at Ilishan-Remo, Ikenne LGA, while Amosun strongly backed a passenger airport located at Wasimi, Ewekoro LGA of the state.According to him, as governor, the buck stops at his table. Abiodun said, “Aeroplanes will be landing here in Ikenne. Some people are building airports, some ‘airstrips’ and some domestic airports. They are embittered, they are fighting us. They said we can’t site the airport here, and I said, ‘It is a lie.’

I wonder when one will hear the same news about Abia state despite being an oil producing state. Congrats Ogun state oil dey una Gov head.
