Photo: Twitter- @FMEnvngIn a move towards economic revitalisation, the National Youth Council of the Ogoni People in collaboration with other Ogoni groups, has expressed readiness for the resumption of oil exploration in Ogoniland.

However, the call for economic rejuvenation has now brought the prospect of oil exploration back into focus. The leaders who took turns speaking at their climax point in Bori outlined specific conditions that must be addressed by the Federal Government before agreeing to the revival of oil exploration.Among these conditions is the exoneration of the late environmental activist Ken Saro-Wiwa and his co-accused from the treason charges that led to their death sentences. They also want the highest oil block allocation to the natives of Ogoniland.
