“The problem is that most youths are not taking advantage of tourism.” Nigeria Tourism NigerianYouths

The South-South Zonal Coordinator, Mrs Ntiense Olaoye, made the call recently in Calabar, during the celebration of World Tourism Day, themed, ‘Tourism and job, a better future for all.”Olaoye said the Commission has embarked on an initiative known as ‘domestic tourism’, which will encourage mostly youths to be self-employed through entrepreneurship.

“Presently, we are trying to see how we can develop our domestic tourism and if we have to do that, we have to try to encourage others, most especially our youths to develop themselves by not depending on the government.
