The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu has assured that his administration will support the Road Transport Employee Association of Nigeria in its agenda as well as provide the association with the necessary ambience to make it flourish.
According to him, Abia State is noted for trade and commerce which cannot thrive except through transportation, pointing out that the oil that powers the wheel of trade and commerce is transportation. Governor Ikpeazu lauded the robust leadership offered by the union at the national level, noting that his government has enjoyed cordial working relationship at the state level.
