The youths described corruption as a cankerworm that has eaten deep into the Nigerian system, slowing down the country’s development despite revenue generated from oil and non-oil sectors.
It added that many Nigerians have enriched themselves through these illegal means at the detriment of other Nigerians. According to AYA, their objective and mission is to see how to end corruption in Nigeria as their sole reason for supporting President Buhari at the 2015 and 2019 general elections. The youth noted that the threat should not be taken for granted but enjoined Nigerians from all walks of life to condemn it and join hands to fight corruption for the progress and development of the country.
