The Indigenous People of Biafra has described as “fake” reports that it ordered a three-day sit-at-home for Monday , Tuesday and Thursday to commemorate the one year anniversary of the nationwideIPOB, in a statement by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, said it only called for a sit-at-home on Thursday when its detained leader, Nnamdi Kanu, was expected to be arraigned before the Federal High Court in Abuja.
IPOB said that it cancelled its weekly sit-at-home when it observed that some people wanted to cash in on it to unleash mayhem on the people of the South-East region.
