The Nigeria National League has debunked claims it is planning to adopt an abridged format for the 2023/24 season.Ignis urged NNL clubs to disregard the information as they continue their preparation for the new season.

He also assured that the date for the commencement and pattern of the new season will be agreed on by clubs and the league board at the Annual General Assembly meeting.All the 40 NNL clubs are expected to be present at the meeting.
