The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), yesterday, ended its two-day nationwide warning strike, encouraging its members to maintain their steadfast resolve if the government fails to provide appropriate responses to its demand.

President of NLC, Joe Ajaero, said the same passion and determination that fuelled the warning strike would be crucial if the Congress finds itself compelled to embark on an indefinite nationwide strike.

Meanwhile, the Lagos Council Chairperson of the NLC, Funmi Sessi, has denied that Lagos did not comply during the strike, stating that the state’s secretariat has more of the Trade Union Congress workers than the NLC, most of whom are junior workers.
