Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Yobe State, Comrade Muktar Tarbutu, has been remanded in prison for allegedly diverting palliatives meant for union members

Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association in Yobe, Barrister Mohammad Mohammad Ngumurumi, said the NEDC had given the palliatives to the NLC to share them among some select unions which he failed to do so. “He was urged to share them among the members of the Nigeria Labour Congress , Trade Union Congress , Nigeria Union of Journalists and Nigerian Bar Association .
