January 21, 2023A 300 level student of the Federal University of Technology Akure , Olona Joseph Oluwapelumi, has committed suicide.This was confirmed by the students’ union government in a statement on Saturday.The tragic incident occurred at his off campus lodge around Aule area of Akure, the Ondo State capital.
It was gathered that his close friends in the early hours of Saturday went to his room and discovered it was locked, after several calls without response, the door was broken.
Depression is not crying alone in a room.... Depression is been living, chatting with friends but just been empty inside....

This could have been avoided if those close to him really cared. But the fact that when things are rough with one people dessert from the person could trigger lot of emotional trauma. Please always check on your related ones cause you never know what they are going through.
