Misplaced priority, you have not been able to feed the children you have already, you are planning to mary more wives. And the new wives will give birth to children.Additional problem. Plan and care for the existing ones.

When ASSU is on strike

Fools in leadership, you have not be able to pay the salaries of lecturers of the existing ones and you want to establish another ones.

Lol .fund assu...not more university

What's the essence of this, at the end, they will still fly out of the country for medicals.

Meanwhile asuu still dey on strike

Assu is on strike, you are establishing university when you can't adequately fund the ones you have on ground. These people sef!

How well have they managed the ones in the country? The scenario is like an irresponsible father of 8 children wanting more children.

Not establishment are they willing to fund it

We should take care of the ones we have now b4 building more

What's the use of establishing university when lectures are going strike like nepa light 🤔

Nice one

They keep expanding the problem instead of solving it

Try and settle ASUU first

When the existing ones are on strike. Locked for over 52dayz

Where the money?

Hope they have money to pay them, make them no join Asuu oo

Medical Science My Foot, The Ones You Have Graduated From Your So Called Universities Are All Educated illiterates

It is only in Nigeria someone will be planning to roof a house when he hasn’t dug a foundation 😀😀

Nonsense ppl

Most of the existing universities are becoming non-viable. But these guys are creating more.

But shey them forget say university dey on strike

Why are these men acting so dumb.. projects that if they are executed maintenance would be a problem.. what about the already built schools ? What have they done to make sure they are up to standards compared to other great schools? What about Asuu?

What is wrong with our Senate? Existing universities could accommodate this, if adequately funded Why creating more probs? Use your power to break FG/ASUU logjam? The country is challenged on all fronts! Stop expending legislative power on inanities!

They should also make sure those universities have close ties to consular offices of the US, UK, Saudi and Europe for seamless brain drain transition.

Both lawmakers nd senate re all there for business I ain’t seeing dem helping the nation

All black.

You can't fund the ones you already have on ground and you establishing more.... is there something we missing here?

😀😀😀😀

Let the one's we have resume classes.

Remember ASUU is still on strike. The existing universities should be maintained effectively before establishing new ones.

Make them clear ASSU palava first Una never finish one wrap una dey order two more.🥺

Providing medical education is always complex n involves numerous very experienced n qualified professionals which unfortunately are already in shortfall. Many of the resource staff hv emigrated n NASS is blindly establishing more medical universities. For what?

The ones at hand, you can't even maintain, and you're going for another. Useless set.

These are bunch of old rogues. Even the established ones r not well equipped. All they do here is embezzling funds from Nigeria to develop other countries where politicians like them built. Shameless pple

Jokers in the dishonourable house. More universities without adequate funding. Lecturers have shut those u have over 3 months u are there doing nothing. Come! who cursed Nigeria with these sort of leaders. Medical what self. Doctors keep running away at the end. This is madness.

Omoh then suppose send Ara abhi Ogun enter this house nih sha. They are bunch of selfish theivies. Hunger dy everywhere but nah Cross dresser and creating more universities concern them. ASUU dy on strike like this o. Issorait

They should first resolve the ASUU strike. Of what use, after establishing the schools, strikes will paralyze all academic activities. Students spend 7 yrs for a 5 yrs course. Even the existing ones are poorly funded.

ASUU has been on strike for 50 days in 2022 and they were on strike for almost one year in 2021 and FG could not stop the strike. now, they want to set up another 6 universities that will soon join ASUU, ok oo

And they won’t pay the lecturers

Why not rather built full specialist hospitals with the money.

The established universities are not well funded

The last generation of politicians we can argue were fairly intelligent problem with them was greed and ethnocentric politics. These current breed we have these days are so daft it hurts & now imagine the coming dispensation then you go know say naija can not survive for very long

That is useless bill,, universities are on strike,, you do little or nothing to bring them back to school,, you are passing another bill, dead on arrival

We can't pay striking lecturers or upgrade existing 'versity. Solution is to establish new ones - Federal government

Please don't make university education as like primary school building every where. This show that you don't know what is University all about

Clowns! The universities already on ground are always on strike because of poor funding, they are setting up more universities to achieve what exactly?

When lecturers are on strike going into the second. What about sense of priority?

Stop creation of more schools.. Fix the increments of unemployment in Nigeria

These Senators are truly confused and part of the problems in Nigeria

Another ill thought out policy. Why not improve 6 universities in the said Geopolitical zones by adding a Department of Medical Science!! I suppose building new Universities is another opportunity to loot funds

Rubbish

NigEducation rather than embark on more universities, the priority should be adequate funding for existing universities. And students back to classrooms.

First give them light

When the existing unis are on strike still?

Nigeria always think it is by establishing stuff that will correct the abnormally we have in the system. Forgetting to understand that this further echos the imbalance that we have in the entity called Nigeria.

This people are lunatics ,where are the lecturers and funds to waste?

Everyday establishment of Schools, when even the ones that are established are not funded. What is happening with our nation?

How can or will these Universities operate with the current insecurity in the Country? Make una get sense na

This people no fit maintain few universities wey we get den wan create another one

Instead of making adequate funding provisions for funding existing ones, they want to establish more training institutions for recruitment of medical personnel after graduation.

Our leaders fr this country no get focus at all

How does this even make sense when we already have universities in these zones and teaching hospitals that don’t get enough funding? Another avenue for some crooks to make money.

Who will win the contract?

When ASUU is still on strike......The students are there roaming about the street, why can't we settle the issue of ASUU and get the students back to school before thinking of any project for now, i don't think there's need for that now, when we have pressing issues at hand

They can fund the already established ones, and these useless senators are passing bill to establish more. Are these senators sane like this?

Hope they won't join ASUU ? Else, prepare to graduate after 16yrs.

Then, WHAT NEXT after that?

Pass a bill for FG to pay ASUU to go back to School. You are busy approving more universities why the once you have not in school.

Misplaced priority

Establishing Universities without adequate funding is sickening.

Serious! Make them kukuma use the money to sort out ASUU. What is essence of more when the ones available aren't functional.

Facebook dating account and WeChat is Available

When you have not funded the existing ones.

Who are going to employee as lecturer to tech in those universities why federal government is not paying other university lectures who already in serving

The ones wey we get dey strike oooo. Rubbish ....

Nice move!

Why not deal with the massive unemployment in the country first before planning to scam another set of students. What sense does establishing medical science in six geographical zones make without having jobs to match after leaving school.

The ones wey dey ground dey strike o

Funny pple

Make I no just talk abeg

The existing ones keep on getting closed every year yet nothing is done you are opening another University what a country

Meanwhile ASUU is still on strike.
