Nigerian security personnel, grossly inadequate to secure 200 million people – Niger lawmaker laments

Speaking with DAILY POST in Abuja, the lawmaker lamented the state of insecurity in Nigeria, noting that “security agents in Nigeria today are grossly inadequate in securing over 200 million Nigerians and foreigners doing business here.”

He was emphatic that the current service chiefs have done well within the time, but added that they have to give way for fresh ideas, for men and officers who have ideas on how to tackle the menace and the current challenges of insecurity. Citing specifics, Sen. Musa narrated how some foreigners rode the same model of motorcycles that bandits are using in their operations in Abuja.

'To Allah we belong and to Him is our return.' Our leaders have failed. They should at least be mindful of the meeting with Allah. You can't justify the killings of weak and helpless people on daily basis! A word is enough. Allah is ever watchful. Hypocrisy! Northern leaders pretends as if nothing is happening. Killing people on a daily basis seems to be free and fair.
