Nigerian newspapers: 10 things you need to know this Wednesday morning

1. The All Progressives Congress in Edo state has suspended its national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole. The State chairman, Anselm Ojezua, who made this known in a statement on a Tuesday night said Oshiomhole‘s suspension followed a vote of no confidence passed on him by chairmen of the APC in the 18 local government areas of the state.

He made the disclosure on Tuesday during a protest in front of the Headquarters of the Department of State Services, DSS, at Aso Drive in Abuja, displaying the said sum before the media. Many journalists were, however, injured as DSS operatives allegedly opened fire on them. 6. The Peoples Democratic Party in Edo state has expelled its former governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu. This was disclosed in a statement by the Publicity Secretary of the party, Chris Nehikhare.
