1. Federal High Court in Abuja has declared bandits as terrorists. Justice Taiwo Taiwo declared the activities of Yan Bindiga and Yan Ta’adda bandit groups as acts of terrorism based on an ex parte motion filed by the Federal Government.

3. The suspected bandit who allegedly led Sunday’s attack along the Kaduna-Abuja Road, has been killed. Security sources said that the leader of the gang was killed in a gun battle with the police. 5. Mallam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammad Buhari on Media and Publicity, says the president deserves credit over his efforts in tackling the farmers/herders crisis in the country. He said this while presenting a paper, tagged ‘Fake news: Challenges of information management’, at the 10th year anniversary of the Federal University Dutsin-Ma , in Katsina State.

7. Mrs Saso Ali, the Permanent Secretary, Adamawa Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, says 149 cases of rape were recorded in the last 10 months in the state. She said the cases were recorded between January and October, 2021, adding that 123 of the cases were minors.
