Nigerian Merchant Navy, Allen Edema, has petitioned the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, demanding criminal prosecution

Edema through his lawyers Tope Fesobi and Associates levelled the allegations in a petition dated September 2, 2021, and obtained by our correspondent on Sunday.

Edema added that the outfit, when established, would help the Federal Government to stem the tide of continued importation of illegal arms and ammunition into the country through the high seas. “It is therefore unfortunate that the suspects mentioned above have never been part of the struggle to attract legal backing for the outfit but are bent on sabotaging the passage of the bill.
