This was started on Thursday by Justice Inyang Ekwo while ruling on an ex-parte request filed by three Seplat stockholders, Juliet Ebere Nwadi Gbaka, Margaret Awobusuyi Funmilayo, and Clement Akaeme.

The Managing Director, Roger Thompson Brown; Chairman of the Board of Directors, Basil Omiyi Emma Fitzgerald; and independent non-executive directors, Dr. Charles Okeahialam; Prof. Fabian Ajogwu, Rabiu Bello, and Mrs.Bashirat Odenewu are among those affected by the order.

The order also restrained the"2nd to 10th defendants from taking any decision or action whatsoever in respect to the day-to-day running of the 1st defendant, pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice for interlocutory injunction filed by the applicants".Justice Ekwo then adjourned the case until May 23 to hear the applicants' move on notice, in which they seek similar relief.
