#NigeriaElections2023: INEC officials refusing to upload election results in Lagos, Delta – LP

The National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure, has raised the alarm that some officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Lagos and Delta states have refused to upload the results of the presidential elections collated in various polling units in the states unto INEC’s Central Server.

The party in a statement said most of the polling units affected were areas where the LP candidate, Peter Obi, had recorded wins. The chairman listed places like Agege, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Surulere, and Ibeju Lekki, in Lagos where results showed that Labour Party won convincingly and INEC officials had failed to upload results.

According to him, “Information reaching me has it that in Lagos, they have refused to upload the results for the presidential election, they have uploaded that of the Senate and House of Representatives but for the presidential, they have refused. And they are using the police to drive our agents and supporters out of the place. And they said that they have firm instruction from INEC headquarters not to upload.

The compromised and corrupt inecnigeria cannot change the rules in the middle of the game. INEC is playing a dangerous game that will most definitely not end well.
