Players of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, will be rewarded with $75,000 , for scoring three goals against Cameroon.
Nigeria are through to the quarter-final stage, following a dramatic 3-2 win over the Indomitable Lions on Saturday. Odion Ighalo opened scoring via a deflected effort, before the Indomitable Lions scored twice through Stephane Bahoken and Clinton N’Jie before the break.Before the match, the CEO of Aiteo Group, Benedict Peters, promised to reward the team with $25,000 for each goal they scored in Alexandria.“AITEO boss, Mr. Benedict Peters, is in town to watch the Super Eagles vs Cameroon and he has promised $25,000 per goal, urging the team to repeat the feat of Uyo and get $100,000 after the game,” it read.
Gernot Rohr’s men had beaten Cameroon 4-0 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, during the qualifying series for the 2018 World Cup.
