Nigeria’s High Court Affirms Joseph Obele As AACparty Governorship Candidate In Rivers State | Sahara Reporters

December 7, 2022His Lordship, Justice Phoebe Ayua of the Federal High Court in her judgement on Wednesday struck out the case for lack of merit.

A self-acclaimed factional Chairman of the party, Mr Progress Ogbokuma, had approached the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt to nullify the primary election that brought in Dr Obele and recognise his purported primary election. By the judgement today, the court cases concerning AAC had ended and Dr Joseph Obele remains on the ballot as the authentic governorship candidate of AAC in Rivers State.
