Nigeria government Wednesday recalled its ambassador to South Africa Kabiru Bala over the persistent attacks and killing of foreigners in the country, government-owned News Agency of Nigeria said.

A source in the Nigerian Presidency said the decision was taken at a meeting between Buhari, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and Nigeria’s foreign affairs minister Geoffrey Onyeama.
