The Nigerian police have arrested a 20-year-old woman, Blessing Ben suspected to have killed her newborn baby. The police on Thursday also arrested one Luka Iliyasu from the police barracks, believed to be her lover. Iliyasu was identified by the police as an accomplice in the alleged crime. Miss Ben who was reportedly impregnated by Iliyasu about nine months ago, gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday at her parents’ home in Jambutu, in the Yola North Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
