Modupeoluwa Akinola, assistant general secretary, NUEE, southwest zone, said this in an interview with NAN on Thursday inAkinola said the country was not ready for the privatisation of the sector, hence the opposition to the planned privatisation of the Transmission Company of Nigeria.
“Let’s crosscheck people that bought power Generation Companies and Distribution Companies , are they professionals in the power sector and do they have the financial capabilities needed to run the sector effectively? “One of the bases of our complaint prior to the eventual privatisation of the power sector in 2013 was that we are not ripe for total power privatisation in Nigeria.”
Thieves. They want to continue their fraud
The real criminals, sabotaging the efforts of the Federal Govt to light up Nigeria. They know that with total power privatisation,it will become bad market for them all. The Government should completely ignore them & carry on with its plans to completely privatise the power sector
Make dem leave am like that,Siemens are here,we go take carbide make am ripe 😜
This is why we cannot afford Buhari's 3rd term in Tinubu. Buhari pauperised Nigerians such that power workers think Nigerians need govt to pay for power.
Is Nigeria is not over ripe for darkness ?
