Nigeria between 2015 to date deployed 2500 Technical Aid Corps volunteers to African, Caribbean and Pacific countries.Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyema made the disclosure on Thursday in Abuja.

The ministry presented its achievements at the 22nd edition of the Buhari Administration Scorecard Series . The beneficiary countries were Benin Republic, Belize, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Jamaica, Liberia, Niger. Others include Namibia, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, St. Kitts & Nevis, Tanzania, The Gambia and Uganda.He said the DTAC since 2015 “recorded substantial progress, including an increase in recipient countries as well as resuscitation of the TAC scheme”.

The corps was established to share Nigeria’s expertise with other African nations, as well as Caribbean and Pacific states
