Nigeria has commenced the second phase of vaccination for COVID-19. The phase two, anchored by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency

The phase two, anchored by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency kicked off at the Federal Medical Centre in Jabi, Abuja.

The Presidential Steering Committee has urged citizens to get the jabs as part of preventive measures.The consignment, brought in through COVAX, is part of the 500 million doses President Joe Biden pledged to the global fight until late 2022.The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control earlier approved three vaccines – Moderna, AstraZeneca and Sputnik V., an Italian citizen who returned to Lagos from Milan, was recorded on 27 February 2020.
