The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, has said Nigeria as an entity is not a mistake from God but that the Almighty wanted the country this

Speaking on Thursday at the 2020 Leadership Newspaper award and conference, the Islamic leader warned against any form of religious and ethnic division, saying that it would not help the country surmount its problems.

In the opinion of the Sultan, “If we are to go our one million ways, how do we survive? God Almighty will and can never make a mistake, that is his will and must be obeyed.” The Sultan suggested that Nigerians have to accept the religious beliefs of others as good Christians and Muslims.
