Nigeria Army University Biu passes first reading in Senate

Nigeria Senate on Tuesday passed a bill establishing the Nigerian Army University, Biu in Borno State, North-East Nigeria.

Ndume while outlining the advantages of establishing a tertiary institutions by the military said, it was an opportunity to provide quality education and shore up educational inadequacies among the ranks of the army. Aliero emphasised that people should not see the University as that of the people of North East but the University of all Nigerians.
