Niger Delta Youths Laud NSCDC Over Crackdown On Oil Thieves

It specifically commended the NSCDC Commandant-General, Dr. Ahmed Audi, for the feat, saying that the success recorded has led to the reduction of soot in Rivers State and other states in the region.

Addressing journalists in Port Harcourt yesterday, SSYI national president, Comrade Imeabe Saviour Oscar, also lauded Audi for the payment of backlog of over N300 million to families of deceased and wounded officers of the corps. Oscar said, “We want to commend the efforts of the Commandant-General in keeping sanity in the corps, maintaining and ensuring professional conduct among men and officers and promoting decency in security formations.

“We are proud that with men like Commandant-General Audi, the nation is on the part of getting it right in the area of security. There is growing need that people like Audi should be given more opportunities to function in public offices if we must get to our Canaan Land.
