THE Nigerian Guild of Editors has criticised the recent attack on the Nigerian Defence Academy in Afaka, Kaduna State, by gunmen, describing it as a worrisome dimension to insecurity in the country.

The NGE said these in a communique issued on Sunday titled, ‘Be more proactive, creative in security management, NGE tells government’.It also announced that its 17th All Nigerian Editors’ Conference, which would hold on October 21 and 22, 2021 in Abuja, would focusing on the current security challenges in the nation, with the theme: “Media in times of crisis: Resolving conflict, achieving consensus.
