“So, we have to start encouraging and equipping the people who are already well-positioned to fill that gap right now. The youth liaison and programme analysis advisor for the NGA, Fashola Adeyemi, said the establishment of the student chapter of the association is a testament to their commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders in the gas industry.

The Nigerian Gas Association is focusing on undergraduates of petroleum and gas engineering to drive the goal of sustainable gas utilisation. Lagos State Government has said that eight new islands are underway in the state to create waterfront estates/man-made Islands, as well as more lands/new housing schemes for development to bridge the housing deficit in the state.
