Head of Nigeria Football Federation Technical Committee, Augustine Eguavoen, has said that the NFF did not at any time sack Super Falcons Coach, Randy Waldrum. He said: “NFF Technical Committee at this point is on a positive and healthy relationship with Waldrum. Everybody saw the fine performance of the Super Falcons at the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
Equaveon added: “After Waldrum released the list of players that will take part in the Women’s Nations Cup qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe, we discussed on phone. He was supposed to settle the issues of his contract when he comes to Nigeria for the game against Sao Tome. Unfortunately, Sao Tome pulled out of the qualifiers.
