DAILY POST had reported that Osimhen took to his Twitter page on Sunday to announce the passing away of his father while sharing a write up that had “R.I.P. Dad”Reacting to the sad news, the NFF wrote on their verified Twitter handle: “Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Take heart and stay strong @victorosimhen9.”

In the same vein, Lille wrote: “Today we learned with great sadness of the passing of @victorosimhen9’s father. “The entire LOSC family is joined in grief with Victor and his family. He has our full support during this difficult time.”
