Reports of increase in electricity tariff for customers under the Band A classification, permeate the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

Daily Trust reports that the Nigeria Labour Congress and some civil society organisations have kicked against the new hike in electricity tariff in the country. The newspaper says the Nigeria Customs Service has expressed concerns over the continued adjustments of customs import duty rates which have affected the volume of transactions in the first quarter of 2024.
