The newly elected chairman of Bebeji Local Government Area, Ali Namadi is dead.
His Campaign Director, Ibrahim Adamu Tiga confirmed the development to Channels Television on Tuesday. The deceased was elected three days ago under the platform of All Progressives Congress in the just concluded council elections in Kano. “Alhaji Ali Namadi was hale and hearty on Monday and was receiving guests till late 10.30 pm, he was hypertensive,” he said.
Tiga said at about 12.30 am today, the blood pressure of the newly elected Chairman rose and he was rushed to Bebeji General Hospital where he died less than ten minutes after arrival.More on Politics
