Primate of the Church of Nigeria , Most Rev. Henry Ndukuba has called on the church members to consecrate their lives to God like David, who though desired to build the temple, in obedience to God, heartily yielded it to his son Solomon. He said consecrated lives are worth more than material provision and what money could buy or do in the church. He said David made every necessary arrangement and provision to make his son succeed as the house belonged to God.
Ndukuba, who took his text from 1 Chron. 29:1-5, explained that the church represents people and when people are no longer there, the building ceases to exist likewise its purpose is changed. But when people are there, church will still be on, even when the building is destroyed or closed.The head of the church noted that a lot went into the erection of the edifice, appreciated the people, and urged them not to seek for their ego to be massaged because of their contributions.
