The National Population Commission, NPC has commenced a training workshop for its ad-hoc staff ahead of the trial census in nine local government areas of

The NPC said the Commission is determined to successfully conduct the trial census in Imo State, in the quest to deliver a credible, reliable, acceptable and verifiable census to the nation.

The NPC Commissioner said the organisation demands high performance and not excuses from participants. In total, four thousand, six hundred and eight EAs have been selected for this Trial Census to test run their suitability and readiness for the actual census.” He explained that this is a huge investment and its usefulness in Imo State must be ensured, informing that through the e-recruitment portal, the agency has recruited a total of 109 personnel as Ad-hoc staff for exercise.
