The Managing Director, Lekki Gardens, Dr Richard Nyong, was one of the recipients conferred with national honours of the Officer of the Order of the Niger by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) recently for his resilience, achievements and significant contributions to the development of the nation.

Among other notable recipients was The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, who was also conferred with Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria – the highest national honour, for his numerous exploits since his enthronement as king of the Itsekiri people.

The Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II ; Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, ; The CEO Welltime Ltd, Mr. Dike Chigbue ; The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Nweze Umahi ; The former MD of Honeywell Group, Otunba Oluseyi Oduntan ; The former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai . These national awards were set aside to honour their selfless service to the nation and to further encourage them to do more excellent work and meritorious services for the nation.All rights reserved.
