The governor stated this in his inaugural speech shortly after his swearing in and that of his deputy Engr Aminu Usman held at Malam Aminu Kano Triangle in Dutse.
He declared that in running the affairs of the state, he will learn from the success and challenges of past state governments under Muhammad Badaru Abubakar and build from where he stopped. Malam Namadi stated that under his 12-point agenda, he will do all his best to take Jigawa State to the next level.
“As part of my agenda for short, medium and ‘long term development program, we will improve the state education sector through provision of adequate teachers other materials and infrastructure. “We will also enhance our healthcare sector by providing modern working equipment, producing enough manpower that will manage the facilities for making healthcare services accessible and affordable for all,” he stated.
